Please... be patient
when shopping for a puppy. Every dog type has its pros and cons
and the more you know about a breed, the more you will choose one
that is most suitable for you.

Plan to spend time
with the litter as much as possible. Puppies' personalities
and individual characteristics begin to shine through at about 6
weeks of age. By the time your puppy is ready to go home, you
will already be somewhat familiar.

 |
During the first 9
weeks, the puppies will have been introduced to the usual
'people noises' by the breeder family. As pack animals,
it is natural for a pup's littermates and its mother to teach
it socialization. This, in turn, will help your pup prepare for
the changes to come.

 |
While waiting for
your new puppy, you will want to read up on normal puppy
development and what to expect as your puppy matures. A few
